2014

HAPPY NEW YEAR - may this be your healthiest and happiest yet!!!!

I decided after Blogmas I would take a little break just until New Years and WOW what a New Years, anyone else still feeling a bit tired? No just me... ok.

I hope you all had a lovely night and have a good list of "New Years Resolutions", I know I have, that we all hope we'll keep this year.

This post is just a "to let you know what's happening".
So I will be sticking to posting every other day -

Monday - fitness
Wednesday - catch up
Friday - beauty/fashion
Sunday - food
(mostly healthy with the occasional treat)

I hope this is ok with you guys as I want to be posting as much as possible without going back into Blogmas mode.

My posts will go up early in the morning on post days so those of you who wake up early and like to read blogs, or workout, or cook can see my blog before work/school/the day/whatever it may be.

What they will be:

Fitness:
Each Monday I'll post different posts relating to fitness. This will include workouts, mini workouts, diets, DVD reviews and more.

Catch up:
So this will be my "Mid-Week Rambles" which consists of me talking about my life, other people's lives, the news and whatever else has occurred in that week.
I'm not certain yet but I may also do reviews as well, first impressions, long term review etc.

Beauty/fashion:
This will be about make up or fashion or anything beauty related. I'll do tutorials, likes/dislikes, look-books, reviews and more.

Food:
Every Sunday I will post a healthy recipe (most of the time) that will help you on your quest for healthy balanced lifestyle. As I am a fussy eater I will make sure they taste delicious (this will be judged by me and my family) and look appealing because we all know "you eat with your eyes".

So I hope you will enjoy reading my blog this year as well as having a lovely and prosperous 2014 and I will see you next Monday!

Jo Malone Candle

So, the other day I was buying a present and I decided as I was unsure of the things she liked, I thought a candle would be a suitable choice. A lot of shops in England sell candles however I have not found a place other than Jo Malone that sell candles quite as good. Not only do they smell amazing, they are good quality, long-lasting and the service in the shop is excellent.

Whilst I was in there I may have bought a candle for myself also as a little treat for those relaxing (home) spa days we try to have once every few weeks.

After introducing my nose to a variety of different scents, I finally decided that Nectarine Blossom & Honey was the smell for me, also because the lady had convinced me it suited my character: sweet and kind.

Like most, I'm a sucker for compliments.

I love this scent in particular as it is summery and pretty, and also I love nectarines so it does make me a little bit peckish.

Although I haven't got a picture the packaging of their products it beautiful, even when your purchase isn't a gift. It's like a present for yourself.

Thanks for reading guys, you should all check out www.jomalone.co.uk as they do great products, not just candles.

Beyoncé Concert

So on the 2nd May I went to see the incredible Beyoncé at the O2. I was in standing, right by the second stage by the VIP section, which after queueing for quite a few hours was well worth the wait.

Not only was I in spitting distance of Beyoncé I also got to see Catherine Jenkins, Kelly Brook, her injured boyfriend Danny Cipriani, who is gorgeous by the way AND Kim Kardashian. I did manage to snap a few photos of the incredible evening and celebs so here's one of the best nights of my life.

It has been one of my life long dreams to see Beyoncé and it was everything I expected and more. I have never seen anyone perform live as well as she did. It was truly amazing and I feel so lucky to be able to go.

Now of course during the opening act and waiting time before she came on, I may have gone slightly stalkerish and taken a bunch of pictures of Kelly Brook who was letting her hair down, her stunningly hot boyfriend, who spent a lot of the night on the phone, Danny Cipriani and Catherine Jenkins, who had a slightly full face of makeup. The two girls danced all night in the segregated VIP area, where everyone seemed to know everyone.

Kelly wore a red detailed top, paired with jeans and a pair a leopard print Louboutins. Whilst Catherine was wearing a black top and black jeans, with very heavy eye makeup. The two girls looked pretty and seemed as though they were having a great time.
Kim Kardashian arrived 30 minutes into the performance. She kept her head down and was at the very back of the VIP section. She left early to visit Beyoncé backstage shortly followed by Kelly, Catherine and the posse.

Although I acted a bit like the paparazzi for the majority of the night I was watching the performance and like I said before it was one of the best nights of my life and it was a privilege to be able to see and be so close to one of my idols.

Thanks for reading everyone, if you managed to get tickets to see her let me know in the comments or send an email.

18 At Last

Hi everyone, so yesterday was my brother's 18th birthday and he is finally "legally" allowed to go out to clubs, bars and drink.

To celebrate my brother's new age we went to our local pub and drinks were on him. He also went out to a club called Tiger Tiger in Soho with "The Lads"
Let's just say the night went well as he didn't get home till 4:00am.

Being the good sister I am, I decided to make him some fairy cakes.

You're never too old for fairy cakes!

I won't lie they're some of my best work, I will admit the writing is a bit "hicklety-picklety" but they look homemade and quirky, and he likes them.

I bought my brother a belt from Ted Baker, now I know a belt may sound a bit cheap and stingy but take a look at this.

This is a reversible belt perfect for men who need both a black and a brown belt, it is also very stylish and great quality. It costs £40 but is well worth the slightly high price.

Thanks for reading guys, next blog will be on my drugstore shop #2.

Harry Potter World

Hi everyone, sorry it's been a while but the start of this year has been hectic. Time got away from me, and before I knew it, it was April and I haven't written a single post for two months. However I promise from now on I will be blogging at least once a week.

Last week I went to the amazing Harry Potter World, and if you didn't get the hint from that adjective, it was... AMAZING!!

I have never said "Oh My God, wow!" so many times in my life. Harry Potter World is so worth going to, this was quite literally my childhood and going to the place where all the Harry Potter films were made is a once in a lifetime chance/experience that I will never forget.

Now of course being the big kid I am, I got a little bit excited in the shop and bought everything I thought would make me a proper wizard.

A wand - Dumbledore's to be specific

Harry Potter glasses

A (light up) broom

A Gryffindor scarf

Of course all these accessories were "essential purchases".                          Well I'll admit now I'm home they aren't as fantastic as they seemed in the shop but at least I have souvenirs from my trip.

That's all for today, and if you've been to Harry Potter World or you're planning to go let me know and tell me your thoughts.

Like I said sorry for the lack of blogs but I will be doing one at least once a week.

Thanks for reading,
Much love x
