#AllBloggersGreatAndSmall

Hello everyone, this week's "mid-week rambles" is a fun little tag called "All Bloggers Great and Small". I was tagged by Deanna owner of "The Girl who Wished the World" so check out her blog and her version here and thank you Deanna for tagging me. It's only a little tag but I thought it would be fun...

1.     What makes you want to blog?
To start with, my cousin had a blog and introduced me to it, ever since (on and off but now consistently) I've been hooked. I love testing new products and discovering new products through other people. It's also a great way to meet new people from all over the world that have similar interests to you. Also getting a comment gives me the biggest buzz that I blog just to get more.

2.     Your Morning skin routine?
Splash face with water, (atm) use Magnitone Pulsar to cleanse and mini exfoliate, then Bioderma before applying Effaclar Duo + as serum, moisturiser, primer then makeup.

3.     Your favorite blogger?
I love The Londoner and my cousin This London Life - both really interesting reads and full of personality

4.     A beauty product you couldn’t live without?
Soap & Glory Hand Food - that stuff is incredible

5.     Your favorite make-up brand (drugstore)?
Probably Maybelline just because the majority of 'drugstore' products I buy are from there

6.     Your favorite make-up brand (High-end)?
I love Bobbi Brown and Clinique

7.     What is your staple wardrobe item?
My green parka with (faux) sheep looking fur on inside from Topshop (the one in Zoella's November Favourites?)or probably something like black skinny jeans

This was a fun and non-time-consuming tag which I really enjoyed, so thank you again to Deanna and I now tag my new followers on Bloglovin so I can get to know you:

Hope you all enjoyed this tag, it was something a bit different! Talk to you Friday x

L'oreal New Miss Manga Mascara Review

Extra beauty post as I missed last weeks:

So I've always liked L'Oreal mascaras, I won't lie Maybelline is my favourite "drugstore" brand for mascara,I've never been disappointed when I try out one of their new mascaras unfortunately this product did not have the same effect.

I was really excited by this new mascara as I thought the concept of a 360 degree flexible brush was intriguing and innovative. I also liked that there are three colours: turquoise, violet and black. I'm not a big risk-taker with mascara I usually stick to black but I thought if I like the product I will go back and try another colour.

Unfortunately I do not think I will be trying out the other two colours due to the fact I was quite disappointed in this product. I felt the unique quality of the product (the brush) doesn't actually move at all when applying the mascara it just acts as a normal brush.
When first applied this is far from "Mega Volume". Unless I apply pencil eyeliner to my tight line I find it only lengthens my lashes. When I apply more to help the volume it clumps my lashes together. With this mascara the more you apply the more volume you get but that comes with clumping for me.

This product is for those who want very natural looking lashes or quite heavy mascara. This is not my preference and as it was quite expensive for a highstreet mascara at £8.99 I feel it was a bit of a waste of money.

However every cloud has a silver lining it will be useful for natural days because I quite like how it looks with only one coat.

This is quite a controversial view about this products, other reviews I have read said how much they love this mascara, I just feel that it is not my cup of tea. Oh well I'll stick to my Maybelline Volum' Express One By One for now.

Day to Night Make Up - Feat Naked 3 Palette

Here's my pretty make up look to get you from day to night this winter featuring the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette that my incredible brother bought me for christmas (I owe him big time for that).

Day Make Up:

Liz Earle Skin Repair moisturiser
MaxFactor Facefinity 3 In 1 foundation - Light Ivory
Collection 2000 concealer - 2 Light
Maybelline Super Stay 24H powder - Ivory
Maybelline Dream Sun bronzer - Blonde
L'oreal Super Liner eyebrow pencil - 03 Brunette
Rimmel Sofy Kohl eye liner - Jet Black (only for tight line)
Urban Decay Naked 3 palette
- Dust to lids
- Buzz to crease
- Strange to brow bone and inner corner of eye
Maybelline the Falsies
Vaseline

In the early hours of the morning we do not want to spend hours on our make up but still want to look bright or presentable at least. This look leaves you looking awake (from the light and shimmery colours used on the eyes) and flawless (with the full coverage concealer) with ease.

Night Make Up:

Maybelline Dream Sun bronzer - Brunette
(to add emphasis to cheek bones)
Urban Decay Naked 3 palette
- Mooner between brow bone and crease to blend out
- Blackheart to outer corner of eye and under lower lash line
- Dust to inner part of lid for a touch up
Maybelline Master Duo eye liner (I forgot to do this)
Add emphasis with Maybelline the One by One mascara
Revlon Just Bitten Kissable balm stain - Crush Beguin
*Of course touch up foundation, concealer if you need to

To glam up your day look so you're ready for a night out you want to add a bit of colour to your face. Do this by adding a pop of colour to your lips and some smokiness to your eyes to get that sexy look.

Which Maybelline Mascara Is Right For You?

The Falsies Volum' Express (Flared)

I really like this mascara. For me it does exactly what it says on the bottle. Flares. My lashes literally grow an inch. Ok so maybe 2-5 cm but that's a lot on your lashes. I feel this mascara gives more length than volume, but nonetheless it is great. It is a drier mascara, which I tend not to like but for some reason this mascara is an exception to the rule.

I love the brush of this mascara. It is slightly curved in order to flare and then lengthen your lashes. I also liked the directions for application to get optimum results.

Usually will cost £7.99 at drugstores such as Superdrug.

Which Maybelline Mascara Is Right For You?

The Mega Plush Volum' Express

This is Maybelline's newest mascara and personally, I do not it. I feel it doesn't really lengthen, or give any extra volume to, my lashes, compared to others. I suppose you can be the judge.

Furthermore, I do not like the brush. The new "Flexor-Brush" is meant to give "careless lashes with every stroke". I certainly feel careless when applying it to my lashes and I find it flimsy rather than flexible. I also it looks like the turbo washers in a carwash which is why I'm probably put off it.

This mascara is definitely for those who want a natural look effortlessly. Quite simply a few strokes and you will be done. Perfect for those who do their makeup in five minutes and under.

Can be bought at drugstores such as Superdrug for £7.99.

Which Maybelline Mascara Is Right For You?

Maybelline Great Lash

I believe this is one of the older mascaras, as you can see from the packaging. I never gave this product much attention simply because it never caught my eye. However I am actually quite upset I haven't bought it sooner.

The mascara, as promised by the casing, certainly does make your lashes thicker, For a night out on the town I wouldn't like to say whether or not it clumps but for a natural everyday look, I am confident in telling you all it does not.

This mascara is great for those who are always late and doing their makeup in the taxi on the way to work. The brush is so small there is no chance of blobbing a black dot on your nose, or any other places you may blob your mascara. It is great for a night out or casual daywear. It is neither dry nor wet which means it is pretty much perfect for anyone.

I would recommend to all. It costs a minimal £4.99 from drugstores such as Superdrug

Which Maybelline Mascara Is Right For You?

So I'm pretty sure everyone I know has had at least one of the Maybelline mascaras in their lifetime, however as they bring out a new mascara almost every month it's hard to know which one you will like the best.

Over the next month I will be reviewing every Maybelline mascara I can lay my hands on and tell you what I think of them, who they are suited for, why etc.

Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express The Rocket

I started with this mascara as it is my personal favourite, and my current everyday mascara. I find this mascara very wet, which I like, and it makes my lashes much longer.

This mascara is not for those who like natural looking lashes or for those who hate wet mascaras. Depending on the amount applied this mascara can look pretty natural or can give an almost false/dramatic look, but not too OTT.

Top Lashes with mascara on
*If you are as squeamish with eyes as I am sorry for this up close snap*

Can be bought at drugstores/highstreet shops such as Superdrug for £7.99.

There is also a waterproof version of the product. Personally I do not like this as much because it does not give my lashes the length and the volume I want however it is great for when you are on holiday or going to the gym, as this will not come off. This does come as a bit of a struggle when trying to get it off as a lot of rubbing is needed.
